The disappearance of a young teen upsets the life in a small village of the Pyrenees.

In 1982, a macabre triple murder in Sant Jord , a small village on the Catalan Pyrenees, will forever mark the lives of its inhabitants. The police find the bodies on the Island of Silence, a place that had always been at the center of dark legends, and an attraction for anyone visiting town. After catching the killer, Sant Jord tries to rise above this and go back to normal. But the island is still there, unmoving, reminding them of the terrible incident it witnessed.

Years later, Nil, the son of the police officer who handled the case, decides to make a documentary about the tragedy, and as he goes further with it, he finds not all the evidence point at the person detained as the real perpetrator.

When Nil suddenly disappears, Emma, his best friend, is convinced something happened to him. But twenty-seven years will have to pass for Emma to have the chance, after finding a mysterious envelope under her door, to finally learn what truly happened to her friend and the secrets hidden on the Island of Silence.
