KUSH is a story of intrigue, conspiracy and mythological events that occur during the journey of five boys from ancient Rome as they make their way to the City of Meroe in the Kingdom of Kush. The boys are from two families, one from Perusia and the other from Rome. The three boys from Perusia are kidnapped and forced to travel by boat up the Nile River in Egypt. Their two cousins, from Rome, pursue them overland in an effort to set them free. The boys from Rome are led by the "Black Prince", a member of the Royal Family of Kush. The book chronicles the experiences each boy has as they pass through cities of unimaginable beauty and unusual customs and places with exotic animals and mythological creatures. They are exposed to dangers and treachery, as well as both "White" and "Black" Magic. Why have they been kidnapped? Who is behind the plot? Is it just court politics? Or is there something more?
