Due to a lucky plane crash in the jungle, Dr. Charles Decker (Michael Gough) discovers plants that use flies for plant chow.
He brings back a chimp and of all names, he picks “Konga”. I would have picked “Bonzo”.
Charles ruthlessly tosses his old plants on the floor as they served their purpose; now they are to be replaced by his new favorite plants from Uganda. Is this how Charles treats people also? Not to mention cats.
Dr. Decker hopes to guide voluptuous student Sandra (Claire Gordon) in her development. Yeah, right.
Unlucky in love and other things Charles turns to his chimp friend who does “big” things for his doctor buddy. Others may want to use Konga’s talents with disastrous outcomes.
Never mind the hokie scene where Konga is supposed to be extremely tall and throws this ridiculous doll with red hair that supposedly is the Dr.’s assistant. And Sandra Banks (Claire Gordon) may get caught in the Professors flytrap.
We get an Ape-alling outcome.
Next watch “Bride of the Gorilla (1951), where Barny goes ape.
