This book is one of the best WWII novels I have read. Factual, accurate in every detail, fast paced; in other words, a page turner that captures the reader from page one.

The story of young jewish fighter pilot in WW2

It is the story of young jewish fighter pilot during World War 2 who struggles against nazis and antisemits inside his own military unit. The book is fantastically well written and very truthful. The book is absolutely autobiografic. Frederic Arnold is very gifted and famous man. He is a painter, sculptor, actor, writer, and an inventor and successful businessman. And finally, he is the legend test pilot who test-flew America's first jet. At all, this book is the great reading.
