BEDTIME FUN

THIS IS A LITTLE STURDY BOARD BOOK APPX 6 INCHES BY 6 INCHES. IT CONTAINS 5 STORY PAGES & 5 PAGES TO MATCH THE PUZZLE TO THE STORY. WHEN YOU OPEN THE BOOK THE FIRST & SECOND PAGES CONTAIN THE 5 PUZZLE PIECES TO GO ALONG WITH THE FOLLOWING STORY. WE DID NOT UNDERSTAND THIS BOARD BOOK PUZZLE CONCEPT UPON ORDERING BUT WERE HAPPILY SURPRISED, AS OUR 2 YR OLD BOY HELD THE PIECES AND ON THE SECOND READ KNEW TO MATCH UP EACH PIECE TO THE CORRECT PAGE. KIPPER & HIS BEDTIME PALS ARE COLORFUL & ADORABLE AND WE HAVE ALREADY ORDERED THE MATCHING BATHTIME-PLAYTIME & SNACKTIME. THE MOON PUZZLE PIECE HAS TO BE TURNED TO JUST THE RIGHT PLACE TO GET IN ITS PLACE -SUGGESTION THE MOON PIECE IS A CIRCLE AND THE PICTURE IN IT IS A HALF MOON IT FITS PERFECT WHEN THE YELLOW CRESENT IS ON THE LEFT HANGING AS IT WOULD IN THE SKY.

A Puzzle and book in one!

My toddler loves Kipper, so this book was a must have. Though it features few photos and not much text, the book does include several punch out puzzle pieces that can be fit into the appropriate spaces in the pages that follow.Matching such shapes as a moon and a toothbrush into their proper places proves fun for little readers. Beware, however -- once the pieces are removed from the book and bent ever so slightly, they have a hard time remaining in their respective slots. We have several titles in this series, and I am forever finding the puzzle pieces lying around the house, away from their books!
