5-Nucleotidase activity is elevated in patients with liver cirrhosis , greater values of 5-Nucleotidase activity in biliary cirrhosis .Furthermore the velocity of 5-nucleotidase for liver cirrhotic sera per minute was greater than normal controls , the substrate -velocity relationship of 5-nucleotidase was found to be characteristic of the enzymes which obey Michaelis -Menton kinetics ,for both system.
