This work of Mussar is aimed to make its readers better and kinder persons and by doing so bring greater joy into their lives. Rabbi Pliskin writes here on a large number of topics relating to Kindness and shows why being negative to others hurts and diminishes all involved. His message of being kind of finding in life the way to help others is really the fundamental message of the Torah which enjoins us to walk in G-d's ways in compassion and goodness. I strongly recommend this work as a way that even the most kind people can learn new ways of being kind and helpful to others.
