I like Manga, as do my children. We have bought other Manga Shoujo books but we prefer this one, by far. We enjoyed the drawings, the step by step instruction and how Christopher Hart captures the Manga Shoujo attitude. Our family really enjoyed this book.

My 4th grader ran for student council recently and did her campaign posters in manga style after being inspired by this book. The instructions are user-friendly, easy to follow, no pretentions, just assumes that you want to learn and teaches in a fun, engaging, informative way. Best of all, this book helped my daughter gain confidence to do her own thing after several practices with the basics. My husband was also inspired to do a "portrait" of our 3 kids in manga-style after browsing through this book. Did I mention we love this book?
This book is a winner!

This is a beautiful form of Manga, focusing on friendship and loyalty. As a parent, I love this art form and take pleasure when my kids do as well. Indeed they love it and this book as furthered their appreciation. My kids and I have seen other similar books but this book by Christopher Hart is by far the best!
