A wonderful book

This is a charming account of the author's childhood and the animals she lived with and loved. There were many and she tells us here about the very special ones. Each is introduced with its own chapter: Dianka and Tomchik are two wolf cubs. Mishka was a deer, Ishka and Milka are donkeys, Vaska is a tiger, Frantik, a fox, Chubary a horse. This is a charming and very loving book. Each animal is an individual. The book is profusely illustrated with many illustrations of all the animals
