Uncover Strange Things in a Small English Village

Kate Hardy is an author who writes adventure stories as a man, and moves to a tiny English village after WWII to get some peace. The view of post-WWII social mores, especially class issues, is fascinating, and makes this an especially enjoyable Stevenson work. Great characterizations and strong plot.
