Interesting

The artwork is amazing in Kamui and I really love the characters. It was only the first volume so there is no way to tell how it will turn. There seems to be a bit of a mystery going on, and it's hard to tell who is helping who. Noa is a agency of teens that are fighting monsters with a special power they've been 'gifted' with. I think it's a good read for anyone who likes fantasy.

Mystical awesomeness!

I saw it and read it. I picked it up mostly cause it's a broccoli book like Aquarian Age - Juvenile Orion was and i love that manga book style. (The compact but thick one.) I own Volume 1-2 and am going to get 3-6 soon! I love the mysterious story and the strange artstyle. One slight criticism is the characters are all pretty but extremely anorexic. I love the ambiguous gay relationship that Shui and have Atsuma; mostly one sided and fill of him teasing . It reminds me of Naoya and Kananme. And it has some lesbian stuff too though that is one sided too i think. Its between Sumire and Aika;though Sumire seems more interested in Atsuma and Shiki.

Kamui is definately a fantasy/ action manga with beautiful art and fan service front covers. The plot isn't really rock solid in my opnion though. Atsuma pretty much is on a mission and ends up joining NOA because of his abilities. The story doesn't really go off track I suppose, but it does it share of turns and suprises on what happens. There is some cute humor in here though.~
