The superfriends vs. the legion of doom

Did you like Superfriends? If so, then you will enjoy this. If not then you will want to stay far away. Almost gave it 3 stars but the art is worth an extra star.

Legion of Doom is Back in Business!!!

Again like with all my reviews....no Spoilers. This collection is a great companion to the first two volumes! Who doesn't love to see all the classic bad guys team up?!?! Well this collection has them all from the Joker, Cheetah, to Lex Luthor. I think the greatest thing about the collection is the return of the Legion of Doom HQ! Any of you who remember watching the Challenge of the Super Friends will remember the Legion of Doom's answer to the Hall of Justice which was this headquarters rising out of a swamp. Which to me...always looked strangely like Darth Vader's head....I could be wrong....but I don't think so. Well kids it's all here and you don't have to wait until Saturday morning. Also in this collection the events taking place are around the time of Green Arrow and Black Canary's wedding....which is also included. All around great read - excellent art. A solid 4 out of 5 stars! Looking forward to Volume #4!!!

Classic good vs. evil adventure

The latest Justice League of America story takes the league and the reader into the latest action filled with suspense, mystery and thrills. It wasn't too inspiring but it wasn't bad either. The story goes with Green Arrow and his fiance Black Canary are getting ready for their marriage. As they prepare to wed, members of the league are suddenly attacked and taken prisoner by some of the most diabolical villains of the DC Universe. It turns out Lex Luthor has now formed a new Injustice League and they're more powerful then ever. They actually have now found ways to resist the heroes. One by one, members of the League are badly beaten and taken prisoner the Injustice League. It is up to Superman and the rest of the few remaining members of the League to fight this alliance of antagonists and rescue their friends. This graphic novel may remind you of the classic DC cartoon The Challenge of the Superfriends which also featured the Legion of Doom. Dwayne McDuffie who wrote for the Justice League Unlimited animated series has written for this graphic novel.The story is well-done, and the artwork is superb. It's a fast-paced story told through 5 issues of the JLA comic book series. The issues Justice League of America Wedding Special no.1 and Justice League of America 13-16 are contained in this graphic novel, plus 2 bonus stories. The artwork was done by Ed Benes, Mike McKone and Joe Benitez.
