A lifetime of running outdoors through all four seasons led Nancy Lombardo to become a quiet observer of the world around her. Her observations became words, and those words eventually became poetry.
Nature and running helped Nancy make sense of life through a difficult childhood and a 32-year career in law enforcement. Writing became a way to feel again, to see again, to cry again, and to rediscover the will to live when she wasn't sure she wanted to.
In her poetry,
Nancy invites readers to explore the Four Directions of life, perhaps discovering something forgotten, something overlooked, or a part of themselves waiting to be found.
Healing happens when you least expect it... just like poetry.
