A tit-for-tat feud between two ex-friends takes a metaphysical turn when one sends the other on an extraordinary voyage.
Sealed inside an old wine bottle, this handwritten document was retrieved from the North Sea off the east coast of Denmark by an unnamed mariner circa 2006. A facsimile of the manuscript found its way to us in November 2008, and after much painstaking work (the author's handwriting is consistently difficult to decipher) we here present the complete text (word-for-word) in twelve parts.
