Enchanting & Engaging

I found myself traveling along in the enchanted world. Knowing how close you can be to the spirit world in your dreams is a wonderment. I know there are answers in your dreams if you just look and pay attention. Thank you Louise for guiding me through. This is a book everyone should read. Buy two and give one to a friend.

Spellbound

Unlike most reviewers, I COULD put Journey by Night down - as when you are spellbound by a beautiful dream - and you don't want it to end.... My journey through this book took me to a completely new place. I read and reread lines, passages, poems and chapters. As with anything practiced, it got easier... to capture a glimpse of what can be possible on ones own personal journey. I evolved from an onlooker in that solitary night, to a seeker. This book and its wisdom will be my bedside companion. Let us hope there will be many more to come.

A Divine Light

On a recent dark and chilly evening, I placed my mug on the nightstand, curled up under my comforter and opened this book. It was a Christmas gift for myself and I planned to read a few pages before drifting off to sleep. This was not to happen, for I found myself immediately drawn into another place. I had read 62 pages before I could put it down. Louise Teresa StrongBear's Journey By Night: A Solitary Journey is a beautifully crafted tale of redemption and finding a pathway to wholeness. So much of what the author writes resonated with me. Our days whirl by -- a cacophony of way too much information and noise. There is something magical about the night ... as Ms. StrongBear shares with her reader, it is in the stillness and calmness of the dark night that we can truly find our answers. Her writing is fluid and seamless. I found it especially empowering to read of a spiritual journey in Woman's voice. As I was drawn into the tale, I felt privileged to be sharing her very intimate and personal view of healing. She verbalizes so much of what I have found to be true in this journey called life: everything we need -- everything -- is already within us. We just lose sight of this sometimes; but it is never truly lost to us. How comforting a thought, in this driven world? Over the past 15 years, I have firmly come to believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. "Everyday life is a prayer," offers Ms. StrongBear. What a beautiful thought! The book is replete with lovely poetry; however, Ms. StrongBear's prose often reads like a poetry. It flows like the rivers and streams she encounters on her journey. The reader is relaxed and soothed by this story...and comes away with one of the greatest gifts of grace: Hope. If this is Louise StrongBear's first effort, I hope that we will be blessed with hearing more -- and I sense she has much more to share -- from this most talented bright light.

Amazing, Spiritual & Life Changing

I read this book in one sitting...could not put it down for a minute. It opens up your own ability to believe that you have the wisdom & magic to transform your life. Now I know that I am magic and I will never doubt myself again. This book has given me renewed hope that I can heal myself and remember who I truly am. I am so grateful to this author for giving me this insight and I am looking forward to her next book!!!
