I knew the book well before purchasing ( replacement ) and I know Elizabeth Canham's writing very well. This book is a first rate aid to journaling - it is written well, it reads well and clearly reaches a significant broad readership. Not sure why it is now out of print, as it should be on every Christian bookshelf - though it is good for non-believers. I teach journal writing and for me it is standard reference, for the art of journal writing, and also a level of spiritual direction. G Brandreth Wills
