So FUN (and much nicer than Captain Underpants)!!

We found the Johnny Mutton series when we started looking for less disgusting but still super-funny books for our boys. We have been thrilled with these books! The humor is wonderful and really appeals to my boys, even though the content is mostly approprate. We have purchased multiple copies and love to give them as gifts. They are so fun! My kids have memorized much of them and many of the books' one-liners have become common household phrases. My husband and I even enjoy reading them.We all laugh out loud! Each book in the Johnny Mutton series is MORE than worth your time and money!!

great rainy day read

Johnny Mutton is a sheep who is being raised as a boy. This is a book filled with his adventures. The first one is about Johnny and his science fair project. The next adventure Johnny plans a party for his school friend. Then he goes on to have a staring contest. Johnny's adventures never end. Find out what he will be up to next! The pictures in the book are really funny. It's written in comic book style. It reminded me of the Captain Underpants Series. Great rainy day reading that is just for fun! I would recommed this book to kids ages 6-10 who enjoy comics. The book will hold their interest well.

Second verse, same as the first

Of the stories, the first two are very strong, the third and fifth are comfortable, but the 4th fails it's narra (Ha ha.)Kids will laugh. Then act out the stories for weeks.This is the second book of Johnny Mutton stories. If you loved the first, you'll love this. (If you haven't read the first, there are very few better ways to spend $.) Proimos is not quite as potty-funny as Dav Pilkey, nor as innocently charming as Olivier Dunrea. But he's close.
