This latest in the "Joggin' Your Noggin" series once again offers hours of stimulating fun to people faced with weakened mental ability. Though originally intended for individuals suffering from dementia, the books also receive positive reviews from many others, including those suffering from stroke, traumatic brain injury or exposure to Agent Orange. The level of vocabulary and degree of difficulty is somewhat more challenging than in prior issues. This edition focuses on word associations, synonyms, antonyms, exclusions, compound words and categories. Answers are provided on the page following each "game" for easy accessibility. An added feature is a readily reproducible set of cards similar to the classic "Bingo" game, but based on words rather than numbers. Seniors may complete the book independently or along with a family member/caregiver or in a group.
