In this future, we follow President Happy Henderson, clueless and controlled as he attempts to arrange a summit with Russian Premier Alexi Butkisky while avoiding impeachment, which he hopes will secure his re-election.
We meet Sarah MacGuire, a young school teacher confronting bureaucratic pressures, political correctness, and surveillance technologies as she tries to do her job. We watch as Herbert Creech, a gifted youth alienated and marginalized by ethnic quotas and social engineering, escapes the trap of his isolation in a world of social media video fantasies to undertake a dangerous journey across an increasingly lawless landscape. Johnny Glory, who is struggling to keep his ministry alive amidst the increasing pressures of new civil rights legislation and tax laws that threaten its financial base. Then there are Manuel Castrejon, a heroic soldier who's not allowed to shoot at the enemy and Thomas (TJ) Jefferson, a Washington, DC police officer who spends his day doing DNA testing on trash to catch litterers. And there's Hamir Al Jihad, head of an international terrorist cartel who wants to blow them all up with a nuclear bomb hidden in a child's lunchbox.
