I just LOVE IT!

Jennifer's Body é um livro simples, horripilante, vicioso e apaixonante. Eu devorei ele em apenas algumas horas, e essas horas foram muito bem gastas. Como eu já assisti o filme eu pensei que a história não seria muito emociante, mas fiquei impressionada com o que eles não mostraram nas telinhas. Garota infernal já está reservado em meu espaço de favoritos. Para quem curte muita esquisitice, sangue, morbidez e terror esse é o livro certo e eu recomendo. Apesar de sabermos que Jennifer é a assassina das matanças, nós nos apaixonamos pelo seu jeito único de ser, ela se destaca, nós amamos uma assassina. Needy, a melhor amiga de Jen, conta a história em primeira pessoa e ficamos sabendo de todos os seus pensamentos, o que eu acho muito legal. Garota infernal garante muitas risadas e batidas aceleradas, eu como todos que leram e gostaram gostaríamos que a história não tivesse acabado. Apesar de Jen estar assassinando garotos...

Good fast paced book..

I really enjoyed this book, it was a quick read and drew me in from the first page. The humor in the book kept me smirking and I truly enjoyed myself as I read it. The storyline was very intriguing, it was definitely out there, and I like that. With this type of book, you either love it or hate it, and well I obviously loved it. I also know they're making this book into a movie, and so far the trailer looks like they stuck to the writing. So, I can't wait to see it! It comes out on September 18, 2009, I recommend you read the book first and then see it come to life in the movie.

Jennifer and Anita, "Needy," have been best friends for years, since their sandbox days. They even have their own language. But one night, at a concert for a local band, everything changes. Jennifer isn't the same anymore and it's up to Needy to figure out what happened and to take care of the problem. Even when nobody (including her boyfriend) believes her. This book read like a teenage slasher film - I could easily see it in my mind. I finished it in one sitting! The book starts off with telling you that Anita is in jail, but you don't find out why until the very end. From reading the back cover of the book, you know something happens to Jennifer, but it was interesting to figure out just what that was. The very end left you hanging...I want to read what happens next. JENNIFER'S BODY is based on the screenplay of the same name, and I look forward to seeing it! Reviewed by: Andrea
