How to lose yourself within the pages of a book? Easy! Just pick up Warren Christie's thought-provoking book "Jennie Passing By" and the process begins. Reminiscent of "Somewhere in Time", the book examines a life-within-a-life as two people become so entertwined that time and space do not exist. The first-person comments that are interspersed with scenes from the life these two shared, show how deep a man's emotions can traverse. Word pictures, continuous movement, and you-are-there dialogue are the hallmarks of this book. A husband reaches out across time for a never-ending love. Smashing hit with me!

A very different love story---not your usual plot!

Baseball, opera, Einstein, the 1950s...and so much more. If you like original thinkers, you will love this book. If you like easy plots and predictable characters, you won't enjoy this.
