Wonderful!

Love it! And a great series!

Faith or Friendship

This book, It's My Life Diary of a Teenage Girl, is a true test to see if Caitlin can remain loyal to God, while trying to maintain her friendship with Beanie. After making a few new commitments to God, Caitlin realizes that dating is just not something that she wishes to take part in. She sees one of the results from dating every day when she looks at Beanie, and just wonders how in the world is that girl every going to be able to raise a child on her own. Among all this friendship trouble Caitlin is also helping out with the planning of a missionary trip to Mexico. Read this book to find out the shocking truths of a teenage girl. This is a great choice to read for any teenage girl. This series is one of the best that I've ever read. Once I get started reading I just can't seem to it down for hours. You can take situations from the book and relate them to your own life very easily. Again, this is a great book if you enjoy reading Christian fiction and are a teenage girl.

Melody Carlson continues her captivating writing in It's my Life: Diary of a teenage girl (book 2.) This book was just as wonderful as the first. Caitlin O' Conner's life never stops being interesting. She has many temptations with her new religion and has problems with her friends. In this novel Caitlin's church youth group goes on a mission to Mexico and there she feels she found her purpose in life, helping others who are less fortunate than her. This mission changes her views on a lot of things and will change yours too. Melody Carlson sucks you in and keeps you in till you reach that back cover and that's when you go buy the next book in the series. Any teen girl will love this book because we can all relate to Caitlin's life. That is why I give it 5 stars, but you must read all of the books in the series in order to get the full effect. But, trust me you'll want to read them all once you've read one.

Comment

I just want to say to the agnostic reader: If you hate the books about Caitlin and you doubt Christianity, why do you read them? Please rethink your views. I am a Christian and I love church! Jesus is the best Person you could ever meet if you would just submit to Him.

This is an awesome book!!

This a totally awesome book that I think all teens and even adults should read.I have read and reread this book thousands of times and each time I am drawn to the characters, plots, etc. As I traveled down the road with Caitlyn's friends Beanie and Jenny,I frequently found myself crying because Melody Carlson just like brings you into her character's world and it's like you are walking beside them through each chapter!! So I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested! And her 1st book in this series is also very good but I would give this 2nd one a better chance!! And I defenitly think she could keep adding more books to this series!!

Lived up to the expectitaions that were set for it!

This is the sequal of the first book in The Diary Series, Diary of a teenage girl. As you very well know, sequals to any origional book (or movie for that matter) have much to live up to. The second in a series must either meet, or exceed, the job done on the book/movie that came before it. I honestly find that this book has gone beyond the expectitations that were set for it.I feel that *teenage girl*'s main purpose was for the reader to get to know the characters. Without giving away the entire plot, in this book some very intense things begin to unfold. I HIGHLY recomend this book for any young adult reader (not limited to girls), and can almost promise you that you will gain a significant amount of insight into everyday problems that teenagers are forced to deal with.
