Snoopy: Head Beagle

Peppermint Patty is summoned to the principal's office because she's breaking the school dress code?! Her sandals (that her dear father gave her) have to go, although Frank;in think the only rule that's wrong makes a girl cry. Despite this, Linus is forced by Gramma to donate his blanket to charity, Snoopy gives Woodstock coaching to be on the baseball team and Fredia reports Snoopy to the head beagle, only to have him become the great honor himself! Plus: Linus knows the solution to win ball games; by drinking balanced electrolyte, but they drink a litte too much. When Patty's heartbreak is over, she scares Snoopy and Woodtock to death with her vampire stories. Who can cure them? Lucy? On the baseball diamond, Snoopy the superstar (after winning "Rookie of the Year") has the pressure of signing autographs. Later, Charlie Brown is going away and Snoopy has no choice but to stay with....Lucy! Not to mention, Lucille refuses to play baseball because she is a "New Feminist." To Be Read During Dark and Stormy Nights

Charlie Brown goes to a Sports Banquet with Linus and Snoopy in hopes of seeing his hero Joe Shabotnik. Snoopy gets reported to the Head Beagle by Frieda (those 2 never did get along!)for not meeting his quota for rabbit chasing. Later, Snoopy is elected as Head Beagle (but finds the job tedious) and gets nominated Rookie of the Year! Linus is bribed by his grandmother to give up that old trusted blanket (give it up, Grandma!).
