Young adults need to use this as a blueprint through those adolecent years.

This book give young adults a positive and productive way to not only look at different issues that they are going through but some possible ways to deal with the issues and feelings. The book give real life experiences and situations and puts in text that any young adult can gain knowledge and not feel that they are alone in how or what they are feeling in their adolesent years. Chapters such as Acceptance and Crime give insight on the issues that today's youth deal with everyday. This book should be read by not only young adults but parents and educators as well. It is a great guide to use for teaching purposes and a greater understanding of young adulthood.

positive reading material

Thomas Barksdale captured the problems of youth in his book and outlined ways for youth to improve themselves. "It's All About You" is recommended reading for all young people. It will guide them,make them laugh and make them think. As a high school counselor, I found the book to be of great use as a self-esteem builder.
