Fantastic Series

I just love these books! My 7 year old 2nd grader can read them pretty easily, each book does a great job of adding several "new" more unusal words to his vocabulary. They introduce a word in context and back it up with very interesting information and great pictures. They then repeat the word several times throughout the book to solidify the learning process. Add in a 7 year old boy who is actually intersted in the information being provided by the book because its so well presented and I am working my way through the entire series of which there seem to be 100's including Health/Science/Nature/Animals and Geography. Our 4 year old is also intersted in joining in due to the great pictures and once again how they present the information. We have read 5 or 6 of the books so far and I have yet to be disappointed.

Excellent informative books on worms. The photographs are excellent and the text easy to understand for this age group. Comprehensive explanation of earth worms. Also includes information on other types of worms children may not be familiar with.
