A MUST HAVE book that should never leave your kitchen!

Israeli Soul emerses you into Israeli cuisine and culture faster than you can throw a falafel in oil! Not only is this book written by two guys who have a highly regarded restaurant back in the United States but they travelled to Israel to connect to ground-zero cooking by Middle Easterners. The photos of the dishes make you really hungry and itching to put the book down and slip on an apron and cook! The stories needed to create a context for their forays into Israel and selecting each dish are really engaging and I was inspired to travel as a culinary pilgrim myself. One of the highlights of the book for me was an extensive list of spice blends and sauces for meats, poultry, vegetables with careful descriptions of how you can create these blends in your own kitchen. Be prepared to have your cooking knowledge and enjoyment expanded to a whole new level!
