Annemarie has been drawn to Israel and the Jewish people from as far back as she can remember. Born in Germany after WW2, she later became aware of German history and recognised how the prejudice of antisemitism enabled the Holocaust. She came to Australia with her family in 1960 when she was twelve years old and has visited Israel on two occasions. Annemarie says: "It concerns me that there are those who try to ignore this dark period of history, and live as though the war, and the Holocaust had not happened. But I know that there are many others of German background who, like me, acknowledge the events of the past, and wish to show their love and support for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people." This book is a response. In this book, Annemarie shares what has been in her heart for many years, especially as she has witnessed the increase of antisemitism around the world. She has served as a pastor in ministry and Christian Counsellor for many years. It is Annemarie's hope and prayer that as people read this book, they may be encouraged to stand with Israel and the Jewish people.
