Fantastic illustrations and wonderful story.

This is a story told by Grandfather Thomas to his grandchildren about an afternoon when he was supposed to take care of his sister Beth. Thomas, Beth, and a few other children went up the hill exploring. All the children went into a cave to explore when Beth disappeared. The children started to hunt for Beth but could not find her. It was getting late and they knew they were going to have to leave the cave to go get help. This is the story of an older brother who takes his five year old sister on an adventure with him and ends up having more excitement than expected. Yet it also illustrates the care and responsibility of an older brother toward his little sister. The illustrations are beautiful and I think any child will enjoy their color and beauty. I highly recommend this book.
