Don't underestimate

I don't know if he is authentic ninja or not but the book brings together rare knowledge from the chinese martial arts. Lets not forget the original ninja were the Lin Kuen from China, during the early unification of the 3 states period many peoples fled to Japan. The Japanese generally killed any foreigner so it is not to far a stretch that many survived in a strange land as ninja. See my review of Ninja Mind control.

try before,speak after

i can't judge the man,but his book is concise, sistemised and very good. i use these techniques and i can say that's works.read and try the techniques and you will surprised!

good book

This is a very good book about the more spiritual side of ninjitsu. it has detailed information on meditation and postures to increase awareness and health. This like many other Ashida Kim books contains helpful information on the subject.

The Ashida Kim series is excellent in every respect.

Ashida Kim obviously knows his stuff, and this was apparent from the first time I ever flipped through one of his books. I have been helped in a variety of situations by the knowledge he has given me. Let's make this clear: THE TECHNIQUES WORK. Even if he isn't Japanese by blood, who cares? Neither is Stephen K. Hayes, but no one seems to worry about that. Mr. Kim fought in the streets with the hippies in Chicago in 1968 (where he met Count Juan Dante), and from there he became a ninja. He is a man of peace, a man of knowledge, and a good example for everyone. People who are against him are simply trying to cover for the fact that they've spent a lot of money on Bujinkan lessons, and they feel the need to justify this expense, because they haven't gotten anything out of it. You don't hear Ashida Kim badmouthing other schools, do you? Not ONE person has ever said, "I've tried Ashida Kim's techniques, and they didn't work." People who say this haven't actually tried anything. If you don't want to read his books- don't! No one's forcing you. You'll just be an easier target when the sh*t hits the fan.

A practical, simple approach to Internal training.

A very practical approach to the internal aspects of training. Not too technical, which is good, especially to novices, who don't need and could not understand a more technical text. Ashida Kim is a friend of mine, and a very good martial artist. I'm no master, but I do have 23 years experience in the martial arts.
