I actually find this reference to be excellent. First, it encompasses the various types of cranes. Second, it includes rigging as well. I am an engineer, and of course refer to the ASME standard for certain things, but this book is an excellent overall reference to give you ideas and importantly keep you out of trouble in the field. Especially if you do not use a specific crane, with an available owner's manual, but rather deal with any number of types or models of cranes, and rigging, at any given time.

Excellent coverage

For anyone requiring general crane information,this book is well worth the investment. I was surprisedby how much information was crammed into this book.Great value for a reasonable price.
