INTO YOU offers a candid exploration of what it means to be gay, bisexual, Jewish, and human in the 21st century. The poems also offer, in verse form, a grand tour of trauma, PTSD, and the struggles of survivors. Finally, the poems are here to tell us about the divine, and about the need to be highly sensitive and empathetic. To quote the author: "It's unfortunate that the desecration of human beings has such a rich history. I'm not talking necessarily about prisons and gas chambers: I'm interested more in the evil that happens in close quarters, in the garage, in kitchens, and on the back steps. I want to describe that evil, and identify it so completely that everyone recognizes it when it happens: and so, hopefully, one day it will cease to exist. This is the Poetry of Evil. This is INTO YOU." Daniel Viragh is a writer, singer, businessperson and teacher based in Vancouver, Canada.
