In the final year of college, Gregg Mason is offered the assignment of a lifetime, to interview three serial killers. His professor, Dr. Max Madwen, advises Gregg to write a thesis paper on "What Makes a Serial Killer" on the completion of the interviews. During his first interview, Gregg unlocks a power burried deep, the ability to enter another person's soul.
