Moving, elegant, profound and unforgettable!

I've now read Intimacy three times, and the emotional power of this novel simply doesn't diminish. You want to reach into the pages and pull the pain out, embrace its main character, the smart, struggling, lonely, Cecilia. Instead, you walk with her as she nearly drowns in her desparate attempts to love, connect, survive.
