Calvin, CJ, and Jeff have been best of friends since sixth grade, where they played together on the same little league baseball team. They have seen the best and worst of times growing up in the inner city. High school is challenging, and at least two of them are anticipating and preparing for their future anxiously. Calvin is perturbed after learning what CJ is doing to procure his future. A desperate attempt to coerce CJ back on course, in time leads to an ill-omened night that concludes in a haunting twist of fate for all three.
