Inshore Angler gives small boat anglers the knowledge they need to become successful at catching the most popular game fish available along the coast, enabling fishermen to make the most of each... This description may be from another edition of this product.
The book is full of great techniques to use for catching a variety of fish along the coast. The Coastal Carolina part refers to North Carolina. I fish the lower South Carolina coast, but the tips, techniques and fish are the same.
Good overview for NC inshore fishing

Mike Marsh is a local NC writer who has put together a very good overview for local inshore fishing in NC. If you read this book, take notes, spend some time a local tackle shop (not a box store) asking questions from your reading, you will be well prepared for the species listed. Get a local inshore fishing map and keep it out as you read. Mark off areas that sound like the books recommendations. Check your assumptions back at that local tackle shop.... I would always recommend you book a charter when you 1st move to an area regardless of how good a fisherman you are. It will save much time, gas, and money as you get the gouge from a local expert. This book will set you up to internalize a heck of a lot more. Easy read and worth the $....
Great Book!

I just about read this book from cover to cover in one sitting. It is so full of useful tactics and information for most of the sport fishing in the coastal Carolinas. The book is well organized by species allowing you to find the chapter for the fish you seek. Tha only thing that I dislike about the book is that it is not water-proof so that I can safely pack it along on the boat!
