Masahilo M. Nakazono, in his studies of the Kototama Principle, discovered the relationship between the classic Far Eastern Acupuncture Five Element Theory and vowel sounds. He named his way of diagnosing and treating, Kototama Life Medicine. Osensei's student, Thomas Duckworth, has studied and practiced this way since 1977 and has discovered another interpretation of the Acupuncture Wrist Pulses consistent with the new paradigm Osensei shared with the world. His studies earned him a Doctorate in Kototama Life Medicine and he named his way, Inochi (Life) Medicine, an new interpretation of the wrist pulses and, thus, an entirely new approach in treatment applications.
