In this book, edited by a founder member of the Feminist International Network of Resistance to Reproductive and Genetic Engineering, women discuss the problems including the pain and stigma of infertility, drug and hormone injections, the trauma of the test-tube baby method (IVF), damage caused by experimental medicine and surgery and exploitation as surrogate mothers.
