Inclusion Strategies That Work

I have been teaching preschool special ed for 30 years, I am now moving into a position as a inclass support instructor in a grade school. I was looking for books that could explain the process. I was also looking for books that would help me develop activities that would help me to reach the students that I will be teaching. This is an excellent book for people who need a general background on Inclusion. It talks about the law, the different leaning disabilities and it also talks about learning stategies that you can use with children who are having difficulites with the so called "normal way" of teaching. I plan to share this with my collegues who are having a difficult time realizing that they are responsible for teaching all kinds of childen.

EXCELLENT!!

Excellent, well written book. We shared the strategies with the Inclusion Team. Many teachers had concerns about the process. This gives a good picture to build upon and lessened their concerns.
