BETTER THAN EXPECTED - GREAT!

Seven years later. Lauren McKenzie has been widowed and is pregnant. Three months since her husband died. How can she face her pregnancy and all the problems that her husband's death has left her. Mark Remington was asked by Grace McKenzie to go see Lauren, as she was not allowing anyone near her to help her through her grief. Mark, who had been best man at Nate's wedding to Lauren. He had abducted Lauren on the eve of her wedding to Nate. They had exchanged a more than brotherly kiss that rocked their world. Mark now had a reputation for drinking hard, fast women and even faster cars. He had made a name for himself on the racing circuit and just as suddenly left. He was good at running away from emotional involvment. Now he needed to take Lauren back to his home, Sunrise Ranch. Especially after he found out the financial trouble Lauren was in. There she met Eddie and her twin granddaughters, Tonya and Sonya - beatiful little 5 year old girls with Marks eyes. Was he their father? Mark considered himself no one's hero. Much less Laurens'. But the emotional upheaval he caused her and himself bothered her. Could she, should she reach out to him. Could he convince her that she would always be protected in his loving arms. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - for the emotions that will tug at your heart for two wounded people who are afraid of love.
