A concise overview of the field oriented to medical professionals

Tolman's goal is to present an overview of the current state of the art oriented toward mental health professionals. While I'm not a professional in the field, I found the book to be a clear presentation of the material that suited me (as a technically educated person). Particular credit should be given to an innovative use of graphic design - the author makes good use of sidebars to define technical terms, provide clarifications, and give illustrations from patient cases. This makes the work easy to follow. A glossary and detailed reference list are also useful tools. In addition to its intended audience of medical professionals, I would recommend the book to any educated reader concerned with this condition.
