1st in series

Introducing LT Jonathan Stride of the Duluth police department & his partner Maggie. Working on a missing persons case and now another teen has disappeared. This teen (Rachel) is a piece of work with questionable behavior and lots of enemies. Suspects galore including her mom, stepfather, and school friends have Jon & Maggie scrambling to find out if she is missing, murdered, or playing games. Lots of twisty turns & exciting action. I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series.

Immoral

The first book by author Brian Freeman. Exciting, well-developed characters, interesting setting of Duluth, Minnesota. A very good read; difficult to put down.

Immoral - audio version

Just finished listening to IMMORAL by Brian Freeman -WHAT A GREAT READ!!! I am a Machine Quilter by profession and listen to audio books while I quilt. Yesterday the machine had been long turned off and I was still tightly attached to my cordless headset. I was up until 2:00 in the morning because I just had to get to the ending. The ending took me totally by surprise - I never saw it coming. Folks who are experiencing "Harry withdrawal" (Michael Connelly - Harry Bosch series) will not be disappointed with this book in what I hope will be a continuing series. Jerri

I want more!

I feel like I lost 4 friends. The characters are so well developed you think that you know them. All 4 cops have unique personalities and all are extremely likable. This is one of those mysteries where everyone is a suspect. Once the killer is revealed you hit yourself on the forehead and say to yourself "I cant believe I missed the clues." Jonathan Stride, the main detective should become the next big thing in detective series. I only hope he brings Maggie, Serena and her partner (I forgot his name) back with him in each installment.

Brian Freeman has arrived!

Brian Freeman has already been compared to Harlan Coben and Michael Connelly and deservedly so! Immoral is an intricately woven tale with excellent character development and a thoroughly engrossing plot. I couldn't put it down and am eagerly awaiting the next book in the Jonathan Stide series - which is certain to be a long and successful one! Read this book, you will not be disappointed.
