More fun from Dianne Castell!

When Quaid O'Fallon learns of trouble at home involving his baby half-sister and her missing mother, he quickly abandons his Coast Guard job and without a backward glance, returns to Fallon's Landing to be with his father. Quaid was cruelly neglected as a child, stubbornly surviving an abusive environment, he was fortunate enough to be adopted by Rory O'Fallon who raised him as one of his own. Quaid's first night at home finds him face to face with Cynthia Landon James, a snobby little rich girl who, being a few years older and the stuff of a young boy's dreams, never gave Quaid the time of day. Now she too has returned home, albeit under different circumstances. Cynthia has divorced the cheating husband who ran her successful clothing design business into the ground, resulting in her and their eight year old son, Lawrence, being left with absolutely nothing. Cynthia returns to her mother's home-turned-B & B, shocked to find her gorgeous childhood home looking more than a little shabby, and her mother imbibing uncharacteristic quantities of liquor. Cynthia has sworn off men - all men - and is determined to raise Lawrence on her own. Passions quickly flare between Quaid and Cynthia, and each and every time they are together, Cynthia insists that it has to be the last time. Quaid feels differently and while he has his hands full with the mystery of his father's missing lover, the relationship woes of a dear family friend, and running his father's business, all he truly wants his hands full of is Cynthia. He just can't get enough of her and while he is determined to have more than just a brief fling, convincing her that they could have much more may prove to be the most difficult of all of the tasks in front of him. Cynthia stands up for herself, for Quaid, and for her friends in town, proving herself to be a strongly independent woman, and not just the snooty bit of fluff that everyone remembers. Cynthia's son, Lawrence, visibly grows into a strong young man under the guidance of Quaid, and the three of them make a lovely family. Secondary characters, their relationships, heartaches and motives are vital to Cynthia and Quaid's story. I'LL BE SEEING U sadly concludes the story of Dianne Castell's O'Fallons. It has been great fun reading this entertaining series, and this final book provides a satisfying ending, tying all loose ends up in a tidy little bow. While I will miss this heartwarming family, I look forward to Dianne's next release.

U must get this book

I loved this book I'll Be Seeing U by Dianne Castell concludes the fun and sassy story started in `Til There Was U. Quaid O'Fallon has come home to Fallon's landing after years of working for the Coast Guard in Alaska. Quaid feels that owes his life to Rory O'Fallon who adopted him as a boy and turned his life around. When his family is in danger he comes home to help. But his first rescue is Cynthia Landon and her son. Seems they are stuck in a ditch. Cynthia came back home a failure in her eyes. Her ex took her for everything she had and her business folded. Her one joy is her exceptionally smart son, Lawrence. He is the only man she wants or needs in her life. But fate has other plans. Even though Quaid is a few years younger he makes her feel alive and like a woman for the first time in years. Can she trust the heart when it has failed her so many times before? Cynthia and Quaid can't seem to keep their minds or their hands off each other. Even when danger is close at hand. Quaid's actions and conversations with Cynthia's son are endearing and will make you love this big lug even more. I'll Be Seeing U wonderfully pulls the mystery of who wants to harm baby Bonnie and her mother Mimi. It was special to see all the family reconnecting and the love they have for each other. Dianne Castell does funny and sassy like no other. I can't wait to see what she writes next.

Fighting the bad guys and their attraction to each other is keeping them on the edge, and that's when things start heating up! The sexy scenes in this book are great, enough heat to keep them interesting and some are really funny! Dianne has crafted another story that has a little bit of everything! Humor, suspense, sexy characters and a secondary romance are all combined in this sexy romance that will keep you turning pages! It's really sad to see this series end with this book, but she did great to tie up all the previous books at the end. Great job Dianne! Keep those great books coming!!

Sorry to see the series end!

Quaid O'Fallon is the bad boy of the family. Adopted by patriarch Rory O'Fallon when he was a troubled kid, Quaid has since grown into a responsible young man, yet inside still lurks the heart of that hurt little boy. Hearing his family is in trouble, he leaves his job with the Coast Guard to help those who have been there for him. On his first night back, he runs into the woman he's never been able to forget - Cynthia (Landon) James. Snooty and several years older than him, Cynthia has always turned him on, despite thinking she's better than everyone else. Just as stubborn as ever, Cynthia refuses his assistance, but she's got her son Lawrence to think about, and sometimes you have to let go of your pride. Even when it's the only thing holding her back from running to Quaid O'Fallon's arms. Together they try and solve a mystery involving Rory and his baby girl Bonnie while raising her amazing son and consoling friends going through their own relationship woes. Quaid proves to be the man Cynthia wants in her life, helping to raise her child, and Cynthia becomes the woman of Quaid's dreams. Now she just has to convince him that she really loves him, and doesn't just need him, and Quaid has to believe he's worthy of her love. It's sad to say good-bye to the O'Fallon clan and their friends. This small town of Tennessee is a breath of fresh air, and the townspeople are loyal and quirky - definitely the kind of people you wished lived in a small town. Dianne Castell writes with lots of spunky humor and sass, and I found myself grinning and laughing out loud several times. Ms. Castell is an auto-buy for me.

Romance & Suspense

The book we have been waiting for is finally here. The final book in the O'Fallon's trilogy is about to come out, which is great but at the same time I hate to see the end of the series. Quaid O'Fallon, the street kid that Rory adopted and made his own had to come home to Fallons Landing when he found out there was trouble brewing around his father, new little sister Bonnie and the missing mother. Quaid had been in Alaska for years with the Coast Guard Search and Rescue, but family comes first and he has to help his family out so he quits his job and comes home. Cynthia Landon James has found her way home, with her eight year old son Lawrence, after a messy divorce where her ex-husband has taken everything - her fashion design business, bank accounts - leaving her with nothing to show for her successful years in New York. Things are not the way she remembers them and she cannot believe the way things have gone since she was away. Cynthia has sworn off all men, they are just bad karma for her. Quaid has never forgotten the one woman, who even in his younger years, had set his heart a pumping but who never gave him the time of day back then because of the difference in their social standing. Whenever these two get close to one another there is enough heat generated that it is like a spark to dry wood igniting a full fledge fire. There are problems to overcome, one being age difference, but Quaid is not going to let anything stand in his way this time around. Readers are in for a treat as we watch Quaid and Cynthia coming to terms with their respective demons. The secondary characters only heighten and add to the suspense as the race against time, to find Bonnie's mother before the ruthless people that are out to silence her do, is fast running out. The reader is taken on an emotional ride in this story, and Dianne has done a super job of tying up all the ends as well as delivering a terrific heart warming read. If you have never read a story from Dianne, you certainly cannot go wrong with this series, this book in particular delivers romance, suspense and the feeling of family bonds that tie. I recommend it and look forward to more books in the future from Dianne as she is just getting better and better at weaving stories for her readers.
