This story is a child's gate to the path of self discovery.

As a preschool teacher, I'm delighted to find a story that inspires young children in a possitive way. This is an adventure story and it's exciting for children. But it lacks the adrenaline of most adventure stories. This is a good thing. The kids have a real experience. Not just a fantasy.

An inspiring and dramatic tale

Iliana is an inspiring story. I read it to my 5 year old (over a few evenings) and she become completely involved in the story. Then my 10 year old boy read it to himself and also loved it.This is an adventure story about a girl who is on a quest to stop the days from growing shorter. By the end of her journey she has discovered a great deal about her self. I think this story is a great way to introduce children to the real meaning of bravery.
