The book was a very good read. Much drugs, drama, violence, and betrayal in this book. Black, Ice Woo, the crooked cops, the Mayor, Chief of Police and a lot more of the characters in the book were great Now this was a hood tale for real. I really enjoyed the ending of the book.. Will "Half & Half" Robbins you got you a winner here, keep up the good work.
A top pick for those who enjoy gang fiction

In the drug game, there are no rules for dealing with competition. "ICE" is a novel of the criminal underground of Elizabeth, New Jersey. Black and E-Double leave their former leader Ice to form their own take on the business, only to find blood as his severance package. Even as a gang war erupts, Black may see a chance to leave it all, but war still rages from all sides, even from the supposed law. "ICE" is a top pick for those who enjoy gang fiction.
A Must Read for Teens and Young Adults

ICE is a well written novel about the struggles of inner city youths, Woo, Black, E-Double and their friends/crew as they come face-to-face with life's choices and how they handle them. It so surreal how this author, Will Robbins, bring reality to his characters with their different cultural and family backgrounds, all in the same neighborhood. Mr. Robbins kept my attention throughout the entire book. Love, violence, and power keeps you glued to pages until the end. I would like to see a sequel. :) Just to know how they progressed as they matured. Two thumbs up!!! Debra Fuqua, Reviewer JMRC
Snub from the heart

Every time I read a Triple Crown Publication (TCP) it reminds me that the situations in each book are being lived right here in my community of Chicago. Most times behind the curtains spilling into societal norms. The characters are the same but the level of passion and the values shared by this group makes the difference. Mr. Robbins story puts the reader on stage with two of New Jersey's top drug kings. Ice and his Port Au Posse alongside Black and his Eastwick Hustlers fighting the same war for different reasons; one to remain in power and the other to get enough power so he can walk away. Both gangs have power and respect however only one can rule the streets of Elizabeth. Ice is as cold as he is violent. Black on the other hand is ruthless and can take care of his own. For Black the streets are only an end to a means, unlike his brother E. Double who lives for the game, the status and of course the money he believes the street are ingrained in his soul. Most people in the "hood" have an axe to grind with Ice fortunately for him his reputation, connections and power has kept his enemies at bay. That is until, a few corrupt police officers; politicians and a host of others decide that his reign must end. Life releases a balance of fair and unfair acts into our world which is based on how we have lived; "what goes around, comes around." The .38 snub nose six shooter that killed Ice belonged to neither the cops, politicians nor a gang member, it came from the most shocking place of all. Icewas a very enjoyable read I found myself on the streets of Elizabeth, New Jersey watching the characters interact with one another. Character after character toyed with my heart. The glamour of street life and the code of honor Black, Ice, Woo and the rest of the players have are commendable. The streets of Elizabeth New Jersey are easily my streets here in Chi-town, because I'm able to identify and I know many people in my neighborhood portrayed as many characters in Ice. Great book

I loved this book, this is one of those books you keep and read again, it was exciting from beginning to end. This story is about hustler vs. hustler, crooked politicians, corrupt police and a DEA agent that are against each other. Its the Port Au Prince Posse against the Eastwick Hustlers. Black was the leader of the Eastwick Hustlers he was my favorite character even through he was young he had a head on his shoulders and looked out for his family. Ice was the leader of PAPP and he was a cold blooded killer that didn't trust anyone he was just evil, but like the saying goes Karma is a b**ch. Get this book you won't be disappointed. I hope Mr. Robbins he is in the process of writing another exciting book I can't wait.
