I really enjoyed "I Will Follow," which I heard about from Gretchen's site (see review above). The message was right on. The book amazed me when Meg would think things I could imagine myself thinking if I were in her shoes! A friend of mine read it and one complaint she did have was that it was still a romantic novel that provoked romantic desires (and could cause discontent). I would agree with this, but I also add that it has an amazing ending.
Two young women who are determined to have romance

The collaborative literary effort of Clare Cook and Bethany Patchin, I Will Follow is the engaging story of 16-year-old Meg Atwell and her sister, two young women who are determined to have romance in their lives. But an extended trip to Mexico places the girls in a remarkable and unfamiliar new world, and both of them must put their personal beliefs to the test in this deftly written, quite romantic, and impressively introspective novel.
A pure, powerful, potent piece of writing!

I Will Follow is a piercing look at a young girl's heart and inspires and encourages us to face the struggles of the heart head on. Romance is a gift from God but often abused. This book challenges us to look higher than instant gratification. You won't be able to put it down!
Best book I have ever read

My sister, Bethany, has laid a path for me in this book. I wish to try to follow what she and Clare did. I Will Follow, made me laugh and cry, the times seemed real to me. I could feel everything that Meg went through. I could tell just from the way they wrote, that they had experience in this. I sat up til very early in the morning, because I couldn't bear to put the book down. I don't think any books I have ever read can compare to this one. I would recommend this book to almost any woman, it seems to reach out to all ages of women. It gives us single women a goal, but its a very intersting book for almost anyone. I am very proud of my sister and Clare. They really won my heart with this book!
must-read!

I Will Follow struck a deep chord for me. It is the most challenging, heart-wrenching, convicting, and inspiring novel for young women I've ever read. I literally could not put it down, and yet, when it ended, the next step was mine--because the story is similar to each of ours and we can write the ending. I laughed, I squirmed, I sighed, and I cried. But there was no escaping the message--follow Christ, above all else. It's not a happily-ever-after story--it's real life, hard work--and the hardest of all, it challenges us so deeply with the truth that we have to face it just as Meg does. I highly recommend the book to every teen girl or single young woman I know. It is a challenge we each need; yet encouragement that we are not alone and others face the same things we do. But in the end, we are inspired to choose as Meg did, to follow the Lord instead of her own wants and desires. The authors wrote in such a way that you knew they had been there, facing the same things in their own lives. But they didn't give their story a nice, comfortable and romantic ending--they left off right where each of their readers are, leaving them to write the next pages in their own lives.
