My Review of "I Can Show You I Care: Compassionate Touch for Children."

I was setting in a chiropractor's waiting room waiting for a friend that was seeing the Chiropractor and I happened to see this great book. I read the book and was in awe on how great it was. This author and Illustrator published a book that will help so many people understand the importance of touching and healing that children can learn from the touching they receive from their parents. In this story a child used it as a show and tell project in school and the results were great. I know now that before I read this book that I did not realize how important a compassionate touch can be. Thanks to this great author and Illustrator I now realize how important a compassionate touch can be. I recommend this book highly.

Great Reiki Class supplement!

I already knew about this book, and hoped it would help with a "Parent and Child" Reiki class I held. It was a great opener for the class, giving the children (ages 9 - 12) and their parents a good understanding of appropriate healing touch -- always ask before touching, think good thoughts, etc. I gave each of the families a copy of the book to take home; the children were excited to have this to share with others about what they learned!

Hands-on healing for children

This book is a wonderful tool to introduce children to the world of HANDS-ON HEALING. It is well written with great pictures and a nice story. My 3 year old and 9 year old both LOVE this book. My 3 year old was very interested in the characters and my 9 year old was very interested in the hands-on approach. She has practiced on her father to help reduce his headache and her brother when he had a tummy ache. Buy this book. It's great!
