A gift from God

I met Laura McGrath a few months before her horrific accident. We met at a children's conference in Tampa, Fl. I worked for Head Start at the time and we struck up a conversation that continued over lunch. Laura was one of the most straightforward people I had ever met and after leaving her company I felt like I was two inches taller. When I heard of her accident I had all the children make cards a took them to her at Delray Trauma Center. It was the saddest visit I had ever made. I remember praying and holding her hand. She grabbed on so tight and I just knew she was going to come through the horrible ordeal. Laura gave my center a case of the books and three for my own children including myself. These few pages are directly from the heart of God and children loved reading them. Today I still have those three little books along with an "I am" mirror. I do not believe there is another book like this that lifts up the hearts and self esteem of both children and adults. If you can find a copy, treasure it for you shall never find another quite like it.
