New chapter in the 3rd edition on ADD

The third edition has added material in most chapters, but especially important- there's an appendix with new information on the connection between one type of learner and a very common mis-diagnosis of ADD. This is MUST reading for students diagnosed with ADD and their parents and teachers.

It reveals the answer to all students' study problems!

The inventory is exactly right and could not be more accurate. It is helpful not only to me as a student, but also to me as a future educator. It helps to understand how you learn along with others around you! It is wonderful!

Dr. Krause's book

I'm in one of Dr. Krause's classes and we used this book in class. It's a unique way of looking at how people learn and is very easy to understand. We went over some aspects of her researh in class and they were interesting. It would be a neat study to try the test in the book on some children and compare their results to their "success" in schools.

A "must have" for every student, parent and teacher!

The Cognitive Profile Model uses well known and proven Jungian psychological type theory to identify individual differences in how people learn, think, process information and make decisions. It is the only model for "learning styles" that has shown a statistically significant improvement in grades in a large, statistically rigorous study (over 2000 students.) Used all over the US and in Canada, it works, it improves grades and confidence! This book is wonderful! It helps you to understand what your learning style is, as well as teach you study habits and comprehension skills. It has helped me very much with my study habits, and helped me in preparing for tests and other exams. By taking a short test, your learning style is identified, and you can immediatly start adapting the new techniques for your style. Great book! Get it!
