An modern-day Emily Post! MUST READ!

I love this book! I am appalled at today's lack of manners and common decency, compared to my generation of African-American ladies, whose parents taught them to shine in a culture that despised them. Now, see, white people are starting to get with the program! My mom, God bless her, taught me how to be fabulous, just by example. She taught me how to be elegant, be maybe a little TOO daring for a child of the 70's, but three of my favorite brands (noteably, Frye and Cork-Ease) are in my closet and on my feet all the time. Good 'breeding' shows, and, trust me, ladies, good 'breeding' can take you places you want to be, trust me!

My cousin let me read this book a while ago and I have wanted it ever since. I think its so cute. I love the cover and the inside and all the cute little tidbits.. I didnt order this book to learn anything from it. I ordered it cause it was cute.. and I liked it the first time I read it. It got shipped fasted and was in VERY good condition for being used! This is possibly the best how to guide I have ever read. It covers just about anything you could ever want to do. It shows how to be stylish, polite, knowlegable, and classy. I absolutely loved this book and I encourage anyone who wants to better themselves to read it.

I personally find it entertaining and amusing. Camilla Morton gives you all the advice to all kind of situations, and her tips can get you out of any kind of embarrasment!!It also includes advice from important personalities such as Stella McCartney or Manolo Blahnik which I find quite helpful since they know what style is about. I highly recommend it to everyone with style!
