Just what I needed!!!

The gentlemen who gave this book a 1 star rating is being completely unfair. The book title specifically says it is for people "who barely know how to operate a camera". Why would someone with advanced photography skills buy it in the first place? To then bash the author for giving basic information is unfair. There is so much more than just the basics in the book. Although I have owned several cameras over my lifetime, I wanted my interior photographs to look more professional. I purchased the book and was quite happy with all the information it provided. If you are an advanced photographer, this may not be the book for you (as clearly stated in the title). For the rest of us it is a valuable resource. The large print makes it easy to read. My pictures are so much better than they were before. The price is well worth it and I highly recommend it!

My clients LOVE this book!

As co-owner of a marketing firm that caters to small-business owners, I have many clients - including interior designers, real estate agents, and restaurateurs - who need interior photographs to promote their products and services. Because they can't afford to hire high-priced professional photographers, many use sub-par pictures on their Web sites and in their brochures, which is a real disservice to the high-caliber work they do. As a result, I have urged them to get this guide and learn for themselves how to take great shots. They appreciate the book's easy-to-follow steps, jargon-free language, and simple tips that can transform a photograph from mediocre to gorgeous. In turn, their marketing materials are that much more beautiful - and effective. I, too, love the book and have picked up some invaluable advice that has served me well!

My pictures are so much better now!

I bought this book several months ago and can't believe how much better my interior photographs look because of it. My pictures of homes were always dark and underexposed before, and now they always come out perfect. I thought I was going to have to spend a lot of money on a new camera to get good pictures, but I was so wrong. My old camera works fine now that I know what to do with it. The next time I decide to buy a new camera, I'll know exactly what to look for because of this book. It's an easy read and extremely helpful! I've been recommending it to all my coworkers and the ones who have gotten it are raving about it too.

Interior Designers and Decorators need this book!

My photos have improved so much since learning these tips. I used to hire a professional photographer every time I finished a client's home because my own photos just didn't cut it. But using just a few of these tips has really improved my portfolio. I love how this book makes everything simple. I don't know much about cameras (and I really don't want to learn!), and even I could understand and use most of the easy techniques. As the Designers' Success Coach (www.WealthyDecorators.com), I now recommend this book to all my clients!
